Yoga Bible app privacy notice
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This notice covers the Yoga Bible app for iOS and Android, where you book classes and manage visits, passes and memberships. It supplements our general privacy policy for websites and other services.
1. Controller and contact
Hot Yoga Copenhagen ApS controls your member and booking information. Danish company registration CVR 41295252 · Torvegade 66, 1400 København K, Denmark. Contact info@yogabible.dk or +45 53 88 12 09.
Booking Bible ApS provides the booking platform and processes information on our behalf. See our general privacy policy and Booking Bible privacy policy.
2. Information the app processes
- Account information: name, email, date of birth, login details, optional phone number, selected profile photo, contact information and required consent records. A minor may need guardian contact details and consent.
- Bookings: classes, registrations, waitlists, cancellations, attendance, check-ins, participation, passes, memberships, purchases and receipts.
- Health information: answers for bookings that require a health questionnaire and information you submit in forms. Health answers serve the affected service and are not used to select marketing audiences.
- Content: your selected profile photo, forms, waivers, booking notes, feedback and support requests.
- Payments: Stripe processes card details in its payment sheet, including optional Google Pay on Android. The booking platform retains transaction and receipt records; we do not receive your full card number or security code.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
Accounts, bookings, memberships, payments and necessary service messages support your contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Accounting and legally required records follow legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). Security, troubleshooting and necessary operational diagnostics rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)). Health information requires explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a). You can decline to provide it; a booking that requires a health questionnaire may then be unavailable.
Optional usage analytics and marketing require separate consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Change your choices in the app privacy and marketing settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. Making a purchase does not give marketing consent.
4. Diagnostics, analytics and messages
Sentry processes crash and performance diagnostics, including app and operating-system versions, device model, installation identifier and account/venue context when present in an error report. Diagnostic identifiers are not used for advertising. Optional usage analytics, such as screen visits and booking events, are sent only after analytics consent and can be associated with your account, venue and session.
This Android version does not use push notifications or send an Expo push token or push installation identifier. The app inbox and email/SMS can still provide relevant service messages and marketing according to your choices. On iOS, where push is available and you grant permission, Expo and Apple push services may process a token and installation identifier. Marketing messages require the relevant consent.
5. Permissions and optional features
The camera scans QR codes when you choose to scan; the scanner decodes images on your device and does not upload them. A profile image is uploaded only when you select it through the system photo picker. Biometrics are handled by the operating system; the app receives no fingerprint or face templates. This Android version requests no microphone, location, calendar or broad storage permission. On iOS you can choose to add a booking to your calendar; calendar contents are not sent to the booking platform.
This release provides no digital video or livestream playback in the app. Public member profiles, member directories, leaderboards, feed and chat are blocked when the app moderation controls are unavailable.
6. Providers and international transfers
Booking Bible ApS uses Supabase for accounts/authentication, database and storage; the current platform policy states that app usage data is stored in the EU. Stripe processes payments, and Sentry processes error and performance diagnostics. Email, SMS and available iOS push use the relevant platform providers. We do not sell your personal information or use app health, activity or diagnostic data for advertising profiles.
The current Booking Bible sub-processor register describes providers, purposes, regions and transfer arrangements. Providers processing outside the EU/EEA must use the applicable lawful transfer mechanisms and agreements; not every provider operates only in the EU.
7. Retention and deletion
Account information is retained while the account is active and deleted or minimized after an erasure request, subject to legal records and unresolved claims. Booking Bible published policy describes normal account deletion within 30 days, accounting records for five years from the end of the financial year, health questionnaires until one year after last activity, and usage analytics for at most 13 months. Records needed for accounting, security, disputes or unresolved payment operations may be retained longer under the applicable grounds. Consult the platform policy for details.
8. Your rights and complaints
You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing under applicable rules. Delete your account in the app profile/privacy settings or follow the Yoga Bible account-deletion page. You can also contact us without signing in. Accounting and other necessary records may remain after account deletion.
Contact info@yogabible.dk about your rights. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency. Material changes are communicated through appropriate channels; the date above identifies the latest revision.
