A focused 4-week programme
Where technique meets courage – master your inversions
Our Inversions Course is a 4-week programme with 8 × 90-minute workshops where you gradually build strength, technique, and confidence to safely turn your body upside down. The focus is on smart progression rather than quick fixes.
- 8 × 90-minute workshops over 4 weeks – with time for recovery and integration.
- Each week: one technique/strength workshop focusing on alignment, core and shoulders + one flow practice with transitions.
- Small groups with room for individual guidance, spotting and safe attempts.
- A structure combining continuity, rest and personal growth – so you can track your progress week by week.
Each session combines:
- Thorough warm-up of wrists, shoulders, core and hips.
- Technique drills at the wall and on the floor for alignment and weight distribution.
- Progressions from inverted preparations to headstand, forearm stand and handstand.
- Training in safe exits, fall technique and nervous system regulation after intense peak poses.
The course is built in three phases: Foundation & alignment (body lines, core, shoulders and wall drills), Strength & courage (active strength, balance, fall strategies and confidence) and Transitions & creative flows (fluid entries, holds and playful variations). You always know what you're working on – and why.

What you'll be able to do after the course
Imagine kicking up into a stable handstand, holding a controlled forearm stand, or flowing safely in and out of inversions. It's not a dream — it's what you'll build, workshop by workshop.
What are inversions?
Inversions are poses where the body turns upside down – from gentle shoulder lifts to full handstands. They are among yoga's most challenging and most rewarding: they demand strength, balance and technical understanding. More importantly, they require working intelligently and safely.
In this programme you'll learn to work with inversions in a technical and anatomical way. We gradually build strength in core, shoulders and wrists and work on alignment, weight distribution and safe entries and exits – so you don't hang in your lower back or collapse in your shoulders.
We combine preparatory exercises, wall and partner drills as well as freestanding balances, giving you control, courage and understanding of what happens in the body when you go upside down. The focus is on quality in every repetition – not on forcing through the sequence at any cost.
We work with multiple types of inversions – not just handstand – including headstand (Sirsasana), forearm stand (Pincha), shoulderstand (Sarvangasana), rocking/pike variations and controlled entries and exits. We pay special attention to neck, wrists, shoulders and core, so your practice becomes supportive and stable rather than hard and compressive.
