Terms & Conditions
Transparency and trust are the foundation of everything we do. Here you will find the terms that apply when you purchase, participate in, or use our services.
Yoga Bible
Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to the purchase and use of our services, including yoga teacher training (YTT), courses and workshops, mentorship & private training, yoga photography, yoga music, digital services, and content on YogaBible.dk and associated platforms.
1) Scope
These terms apply to the purchase, participation, and use of our services and content on our websites, emails, and platforms. If a specific service has special terms (e.g. a program, contract, offer, or written agreement), those special terms apply as a supplement and take precedence in the event of conflict.
We serve both B2C (consumers) and B2B (businesses). Consumers' mandatory rights cannot be waived.
2) Orders, payment & installment plans
Binding purchase: An order is binding once checkout is completed and confirmation has been displayed or sent.
Currency: Prices are displayed in DKK by default, unless otherwise stated at purchase.
Price display: For B2C, prices are generally shown including VAT when VAT applies. For B2B, prices may be quoted excluding VAT, and invoicing is arranged by agreement.
Payment methods: Available payment methods are shown at checkout or specified by agreement.
Installment payments (terms depend on program/agreement)
- Plan & deadlines: The installment plan and payment deadlines are specified in the program or written agreement.
- No interest (by default): Installment plans are typically interest-free, unless otherwise stated in the agreement.
- Late payment fee: Fees may apply (e.g. 150 DKK) if specified for the particular program or agreed in writing.
- Certification & confirmations: Certification, documentation, and confirmations are generally issued only upon full payment.
3) Cancellations, rebooking, refunds & no-shows
Courses, training programs & shorter programs
- Cancellation: We simply ask that you let us know as soon as possible, so we have time to fill your spot.
- Illness / serious reasons: We may offer reassignment to a future course, subject to availability and written agreement.
Workshops (incl. credits)
- No-show: 59 DKK no-show fee + credits/booking consumed.
If we cancel
If we cancel a course or training program, we will provide a full refund. Alternatively, you may choose to transfer to a future cohort if that suits you.
4) Right of withdrawal (B2C — online purchases)
If you are a consumer purchasing via distance sale (online/phone), you may generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. If you choose to have us begin delivery immediately (e.g. access to classes/materials), the right of withdrawal may lapse in whole or in part for the portion already delivered, provided this was clearly accepted at the time of purchase.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal
Send a clear message to info@yogabible.dk with your name, order, and service. We will confirm receipt and outline the next steps.
5) VAT — our principles
VAT depends on the type of service (e.g. physical training, education, B2B training, digital/live services) as well as the customer's status (B2C/B2B) and country. We display VAT treatment at checkout, on invoices, or in written agreements.
Denmark (DK)
- Physical training (e.g. yoga): From January 1, 2026, VAT must be charged on physical training instruction, including at yoga studios operating commercially. We therefore charge 25% VAT on classes, private training, workshops, etc., where VAT applies.
Read more at the Danish Tax Agency: skat.dk — VAT on fitness and music instruction (from January 1, 2026)
Education and course activities
Certain educational services may be VAT-exempt under Section 13(1)(3) of the Danish VAT Act, but the assessment depends on the nature of the service and the specific structure. The Tax Agency's guidelines also include exceptions, such as certain courses that may be subject to VAT (e.g. if they are primarily aimed at businesses and operated for profit). We therefore always indicate the VAT status for the specific program at purchase/invoice.

EU / international (especially digital and live services)
For certain B2C virtual/live-streamed services, VAT may need to be settled in the customer's country (this applies to certain virtual events and live elements in distance learning). For B2B, reverse charge may be relevant, depending on the service and the customer's VAT registration.

6) YTT / training programs (preparation phase, payment, withdrawal)
Preparation Phase
We simply ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel, so we have time to fill your spot in the cohort. When the Preparation Phase is paid, delivery may begin immediately (e.g. access to classes, learning platform, materials, or other parts of the program). Which services are delivered during the Preparation Phase depends on the specific training program and is stated at purchase.
Payment obligation & withdrawal
- After the Preparation Phase: By enrolling, you commit to paying the subsequent installments according to the payment plan.
- Withdrawal: Give us written notice as soon as possible, and we will stop future charges. The Preparation Phase is fully refunded.
- Reassignment: We may offer transfer to a future cohort, subject to availability and written agreement.
Certification & documentation
Certification, documentation, and confirmations are generally issued only upon full payment. This also applies where the program relates to Yoga Alliance (USA).
If we cancel the program
If we cancel, we will refund all payments in full. Alternatively, you may choose to transfer to a future cohort.
7) Mentorship & private training
Mentorship and private training are professional guidance — not treatment and not a guarantee of specific results.
Cancellations
- ≥ 48 hours before: The session may generally be rescheduled.
- < 48 hours before: Full payment is charged / no refund if already paid.
- Reschedule: In special cases, we may allow rebooking depending on the reason and capacity.
8) Digital services & Namaste Online (live)
Digital services may be delivered immediately after purchase (login/access). Downtime may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, or third-party errors.
Namaste Online (live-only)
- Live-only: Sessions are live. Participants generally do not receive recordings.
- Consent to live stream: By participating, you accept that you may be visible/audible in the stream.
If you purchase certain live/virtual services from abroad (B2C), VAT may depend on the customer's country (EU rules from January 1, 2025). Read more: EUR-Lex — Directive (EU) 2022/542
9) Recordings, photos & use of material (our standard)
Standard: When you participate in our courses, training programs, events, or activities, you accept that photo/video/audio recordings may be made in the venue, and that you may be visible or audible in recordings.
Use: We may use recordings and material for teaching, documentation, quality assurance, marketing, sales, and communication across our brands, websites, social media, and platforms — unless otherwise agreed separately (in writing or clearly agreed in connection with the recording).
If you do not wish to appear
- Let us know: Write to info@yogabible.dk as early as possible (preferably at least 24 hours before).
- We will try to accommodate: We can typically offer placement in a "camera-free" zone or adjust angles.
- Limitations: In group activities, we cannot guarantee full exclusion from all angles in all situations.
10) Materials, copyright (IP) & sharing prohibition
All materials (manuals, PDFs, programs, texts, images, video, audio, glossary/blog content, methods, teaching design, etc.) belong to Yoga Bible / Hot Yoga Copenhagen ApS or our licensors and are protected by copyright.
- No recording: Participants may not record (audio/video), photograph materials, or take screenshots of teaching materials.
- No sharing: You may not copy, share, distribute, or resell materials.
- No commercial use: You may not use our materials/content commercially without written permission.
- Violation: Breach may result in immediate exclusion without refund and potential claims for damages.
11) Liability & health disclaimer
Yoga and physical training involve risk of injury. You participate at your own risk and should always listen to your body and follow instructions. In case of illness, pregnancy, injuries, or pain, you should seek professional advice and inform the instructor.
Our teaching and content are general guidance and do not replace medical assessment.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory legislation.
12) Conduct, community & exclusion
Yoga Bible is a professional learning environment. We do not accept harassment, discrimination, threatening behavior, breach of safety instructions, or disruption of teaching.
In the case of serious or repeated violations, we may terminate your participation and exclude you. Refunds are handled in accordance with the relevant cancellation policy and applicable mandatory law.
Privacy: Do not share images/video of others without clear consent.
13) Careers / working with us (confidentiality, non-solicit)
If you work with us as an instructor, freelancer, intern, or partner, the following principles apply (always supplemented by contract/NDA):
- Confidentiality (strict): Student data, internal processes, pricing, program design, materials, methods, and strategy are confidential — also after the collaboration ends.
- Non-solicit (24 months): For 24 months after the collaboration ends, you may not actively recruit or offer services to Yoga Bible customers/students that you gained access to through Yoga Bible, or otherwise attempt to redirect customers/students away from Yoga Bible.
- Everything goes through Yoga Bible: Inquiries and collaborations relating to Yoga Bible customers are handled through our official channels.
14) Complaints, governing law & changes
Complaints
Please contact us first at info@yogabible.dk, so we can resolve the matter quickly and fairly. If you are a consumer and we cannot find a solution, you may file a complaint through the relevant Danish complaints authorities (e.g. Nævnenes Hus). Complaint portal: kpo.naevneneshus.dk
The EU's online ODR platform has been discontinued (no new complaints from March 20, 2025, and full closure by July 20, 2025 at the latest). Read more: EUR-Lex — Regulation (EU) 2024/3228
Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be settled by the Danish courts, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise. Jurisdiction: Copenhagen City Court.
Changes
We may update these terms as needed (e.g. changes in legislation or services). The version that applies to your purchase is the version you accepted at the time of purchase.
