Most yoga teacher trainings pick one style and stick with it. Vinyasa schools do Vinyasa. Hatha schools do Hatha. It makes sense — but it leaves you with a gap when you stand in front of your first class and realise that not every student wants the same thing.
What is Vinyasa Plus?
Vinyasa Plus is our method for the July cohort. 70% of the programme is Vinyasa Flow — dynamic, creative sequencing that teaches you to build classes that move and breathe. You learn to craft flows that make anatomical sense, that have a dramatic arc, and that feel like music in the body.
The other 30% is Yin Yoga and Hot Yoga. That is the slower, deeper side. Yin teaches you to work with connective tissue, stillness, and longer holds. Hot Yoga gives you experience teaching in heat — one of the fastest-growing styles in Europe.
The combination of dynamic and restorative makes you a complete teacher. Not just someone who can lead a flow, but someone who understands when the body needs movement — and when it needs rest.
Why the combination works
The problem with a pure Vinyasa training is that you end up teaching one type of class to one type of student. But reality in a yoga studio looks different. Monday morning people want something gentle. Wednesday evening they want to sweat. Saturday morning they want to go deep.
With Vinyasa Plus you can cover the full spectrum. You can build a powerful Vinyasa class, but you can also offer a Yin session that reaches deeper layers. And you can teach in heat without improvising — because you have trained for it.
A typical day on the July cohort
The July cohort runs as a 4-week intensive. Everything takes place in our own studio in Christianshavn — in the heart of one of Copenhagen's most beautiful neighbourhoods with canals, harbour baths, and long summer evenings.
- 07:30–09:30 — Morning practice: Vinyasa Flow or Hot Yoga
- 10:00–12:30 — Theory: Anatomy, philosophy, or teaching methodology
- 12:30–13:30 — Lunch break (Christianshavn has everything from street food to waterfront dining)
- 13:30–16:00 — Teaching practice: You teach, get filmed, receive feedback
- 16:30–17:30 — Yin Yoga or meditation
The programme is taught in English, making it our most international cohort. You train alongside people from around the world — and build a network that extends far beyond Denmark.
Who is it for?
The July cohort attracts a particular kind of person. Not necessarily the most experienced yoga practitioner, but the most curious.
We see career changers who want to spend the summer doing something meaningful. International students who dream of experiencing Copenhagen. Yoga enthusiasts who want depth — not just another certificate.
Maximum 12 students per cohort. That means everyone gets personal feedback, and the teachers know your name, your body, and your challenges.
Copenhagen in summer
There is a reason people travel to Copenhagen in July. Long bright evenings, harbour baths, bikes everywhere, and an energy in the city that is hard to describe. Our studio in Christianshavn is right in the middle of it — five minutes from the metro, ten minutes from Nyhavn.
Start the Preparation Phase
You do not need to wait until July to begin. The Preparation Phase costs 3,750 DKK and gives you access to classes at the studio right away. The amount is deducted from the full programme price.
It is the best way to feel the studio, meet us, and find out whether the July cohort is right for you.
