Choose a yoga teacher training in Copenhagen by comparing its focus, actual teaching dates, feedback and complete cost. A 200-hour label does not make two courses identical. This guide is written by Yoga Bible and uses other schools’ own pages to illustrate different choices, checked on 4 October 2026.

It is an editorial guide with selected examples, rather than a complete directory of Copenhagen schools. We have an interest in our own training. We provide questions you can ask every school and links to their information so you can investigate them yourself.

Three different approaches to training

School and sourceDescribes on its own pageAsk about
Yoga Bible200 hours, several styles and 4-, 8- or 18-week formatsWhich current cohort fits your calendar?
yum200-hour Vinyasa, weekends from 16 January to 2 May 2027How do the specialisation and complete timetable fit you?
Hot Yoga ØsterbroVinyasa/Hatha with studio weekends and a final retreatWhen will the next cohort use this format?

Østerbro’s page lists a spring-2026 cohort. We use it to describe the format and do not imply that a new cohort is open. Yoga Bible’s four-week format is on an early-2027 waitlist; its next open 18-week course starts on 22 February 2027. Check admissions directly with each school.

Choose a direction before counting benefits

A course covering several styles may suit you if you want to explore different approaches to slower and dynamic classes. A clear specialisation may fit when you already know what practice you want to teach. A retreat can offer a continuous study period, while also requiring time for travel and the complete retreat.

Make two columns: what I want to be able to do after training, and how the school works with that goal. Use specific answers. Wanting to guide a beginner class is more useful than wanting the most complete education.

Investigate teaching practice and feedback

Ask each school for an example of a teaching assignment. When do you instruct others? Who observes you? Can you adjust a sequence and try it again? A concrete description tells you more than broad statements about quality.

Ask about group size and the learning format too. A small cohort may work together or in groups, while a larger one may have different trainers for different subjects. Investigate how you receive feedback; the number of participants alone cannot answer that question.

A fair comparison asks each school the same questions and allows for different student needs.

Compare full cost and actual dates

Request a dated total price for your purchaser type, explaining materials, studio practice and assessments. Separate the initial payment from total tuition. Add travel and any work time you give up to your personal budget.

Yoga Bible’s current tuition is 23,750 DKK, including the 3,750 DKK Preparation Phase. We do not reproduce competitor prices here because a number without purchaser conditions and included services can create a misleading comparison. Obtain current payment summaries directly and place them alongside each other.

Do the same with the calendar. Enter every required date, including Fridays, online meetings and retreats. Add travel and independent work. If a course requires leave from work, make sure the arrangement is realistic before paying.

A decision sheet without rankings

  • Must fit: Prerequisites, attendance, budget and relevant subjects.
  • Would like: Particular styles, learning environment or longer periods for assignments.
  • Need to clarify: Absence, assessment, certificates and feedback opportunities.

Complete the sheet for two or three schools. Mark missing information as a question instead of assuming that a service is absent. The answers may change your assessment and help reveal which course fits you.

Three questions about choosing a school

Is the cheapest school the best choice?

Consider price alongside content, dates and goals. Compare the complete budget and request the same type of information from every school.

Should I choose multiple styles?

That depends on what you want to learn. Breadth and specialisation offer different uses of the training time.

Can I rely on an old timetable?

Use it to understand the format, then confirm the next start directly. A past timetable does not establish current availability.
