What is yoga teacher training?

Yoga teacher training (YTT) is a structured educational program that qualifies you to teach yoga professionally. At Yoga Bible in Copenhagen, we offer Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour and 300-hour programs covering asana, pranayama, meditation, anatomy, philosophy, and teaching methodology.

How long does yoga teacher training take?

At Yoga Bible, choose between three formats: 4-week intensive (full-time), 8-week semi-intensive, or 18-week flexible (alongside your job). All formats lead to the same Yoga Alliance RYT-200 certification.

How much does yoga teacher training cost?

Our 200-hour yoga teacher training costs 23,750 DKK (approximately 3,200 EUR). You start with the Preparation Phase of 3,750 DKK, with the remaining balance settled before training begins. Instalment plans are available.

Do I need yoga experience to start?

No prior teaching experience is required. Our 200-hour program is designed for all levels — from beginners to experienced practitioners. What matters most is your motivation and commitment.

Is the certification internationally recognized?

Yes, Yoga Bible is Yoga Alliance certified as a Registered Yoga School (RYS-200 and RYS-300). Your certification is internationally recognized, allowing you to register as RYT-200 or RYT-500 and teach anywhere in the world.

What yoga styles are taught?

You will learn Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Hot Yoga, and Meditation. The curriculum also covers yoga philosophy, functional anatomy, pranayama, class sequencing, and The Business of Yoga.

Can I do yoga teacher training in English in Copenhagen?

Yes, all yoga teacher training programs at Yoga Bible are taught in English, making them accessible to international students. Our studio is in Christianshavn, Copenhagen, Denmark.
